People often feel alone when they go to church - and that should not be the case. I am a big believer that church is not the place where I find and sit with the people I already know. It’s an opportunity to watch for the one who is new, who is struggling, who needs a friend. I have moved a lot in my life, and I still remember the people who were kind to me when I was the “new person” at church. We need to “pay forward” the kindness that others have shown us.
