"Get up. Walk around. No one will know."
Never mind that I know WHY I need to do this and WHY I can't raise my head up for a little while more. When we are alone, we are not always our best company. "Cheating" on being face down would hurt one person - me. It could possibly make me have to have the surgery again. Nothing good comes of it. But my mind still goes there.
It reminds me of what satan likes to do to us. We know the path we need to take and we know the harm that will come to us if we go another direction - but satan loves to tempt us, telling us all the reasons why we need to do what is the WORST thing for us. And when we are alone, we are more likely to listen.
That's why relationships with other Christ-followers are so important! Those relationships keep us on the right track, encourage us when we are down. I am thankful for the community of believers that surrounds our family, prays for us and helps us to stay grounded.
I am continuing to keep my face down. See you all in a couple of days!! smile emoticon
