June 8, 2019 - My Girls

I admire my daughters so much. I would never credit their parents for the amazing lives they are lIving - lives of sacrifice, purpose, lives that are making a difference.

Kelli and her family are here now, but we know that their hearts are truly at “home” in the Philippines. Their determination to stay the course in good days and bad is so inspiring to me. It’s been almost 10 years since they first went to the Philippines. They love what they are doing and the people God has put into their lives, and we are thrilled to see them live out their passion every day.

Mindy and her family are doing the same - living the ups and downs of life with an incredible group of friends who are like family. I shared this a few weeks ago but felt compelled to share it again. The reason? Because it is exactly what I needed to hear this weekend, and I know that I’m not the only one. Mindy and Michael’s faith and consistency in raising a little boy through incredibly difficult times, and in going through the storm of losing their baby last year, have inspired me and shown me what being “rooted and established” looks like. I’m praying this blesses you in the same way it did me.

I love you and your families, Mindy and Kelli!!  ðŸ’•ðŸ’•

“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.” Colossians 2:6-7‬ ‭NASB‬‬
