Stephanie McCausland Cole and I flew home last night after the nerve block. They treated 10 locations on my back and neck; I am very glad that I wasn’t aware of what was going on!! They used what Stephanie said is an amnesia-type medicine; pretty crazy that I apparently (based on reading the surgical report) answered questions during the procedure. 😳

I read this devo today and it so perfectly describes the value and blessing of friends. I am so thankful for the circle of friends in my life. I don’t know how people get through life without Godly friends who encourage and pray for us in the good days and bad. Who listen to ramblings about whatever is going on. Who laugh and cry with you. Who text your family with updates and take the requisite “before” (with the pretty hat) and after pictures.
