Tony and I are headed home after two days at Cancer Treatment Center. It was a good visit. They didn’t do scans, but blood work looked like what it looks like at this point in the chemo cycle - no surprises, which is a win! 🙂 Mainly we focused on cancer pain in my neck and head as well as side effects of the chemo med. They are scheduling a nerve block for my neck, and were surprised and pleased with how few pain meds I’m taking. I think those are all wins and I am so thankful for our team. 🙂
We were talking with the psychologist about dealing with cancer in general; he says I’m doing well and talked about the fact that “choosing joy” (he used the phrase positive attitude 😁) helps our immune systems fight cancer. I loved that and just wanted to share it. Thanks for your prayers for us! We are very, very blessed.
