April 19, 2019 - Week in review

This has been a good week! Some highlights...

1) My kitten/cat is growing up and biting less (win!). 🙂

2) I've had fun getting together with some precious friends - Ashley Lowe Simmons, Sarah Meier Toungett, MaCayla Rye, Kimberly D Rye, Kimberly Clark Brigance and Carrie Conklin (my friend AND my cousin!). I just wish I had taken more pictures!

3) Re-Engage, our marriage enrichment group, was so good. Thank you to our friends Larry and Susan Watt Word for sharing your story - you did an awesome job!

4) Tonight, Tony and I hosted early Easter dinner at our house with Mindy and Michael, Kelli and John, the grandkids, and Tony's parents and brother. Again - we didn't take enough pictures, but I love this picture with my girlies! It was a wonderful time but all of a sudden, I got so tired and had to go lay down before everyone left.

I don't like feeling weak. Fatigue is frustrating and unpredictable, and there are so many things I'd like to be doing! But God knows the plan, and I trust that HIs plans are good. 🙂

I am thankful for gifts of salvation, healing and eternal life that were made possible because of Jesus' sacrifice for us! Sunday's coming!

Isaiah 53:5 -
"But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed." (NLT)

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." -(KJV)
