“This is not a surprise to God.” One of my favorite quotes, from my boyfriend, who is also my favorite human in the whole world!  ๐Ÿ™‚
One month ago today, we found out that cancer was back. I was very surprised - but knowing that God wasn’t surprised was a huge comfort. And as things unfold, I am reminded of so many lessons that served us so well the first time around!
We will be flying back to Cancer Treatment Center in Atlanta on Sunday night for a consultation on Monday with radiation oncology. We’ll be coming back home Monday night. I’ve been having a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder and the hope is that radiation to some of the biggest lymph nodes could relieve that pain.
Also - insurance has approved the new medicine! Yesterday afternoon, we had asked several friends and family members to be praying about that. This morning we got the call that it has been approved and I should be starting it within the next week.
Thank you so much for your prayers for our family. We can feel them and appreciate them!
