I heard today that the Bible is the most read book on Kindle, and that these verses are some of the most highlighted by Kindle users. I couldn’t agree more. These verses provide such comfort to me in this season. In the last few months, we have dealt with unsettling news and had to make difficult decisions as far as cancer treatment. There are a whole bunch of “unknowns” in our life right now but it is such a comfort to read these words.
No matter what we are dealing with - God doesn’t want us to worry about it. He wants to take our burdens and exchange worry for peace. What a comfort!! 🙂
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
