Hi Friends! I came to Georgia last night, and it has been a very good day. π
My doctor (who doesn’t overstate things) had this to say: “I think we are winning.” ππππ
The tumor markers continue to go down (even though I had a break from the chemo med due to low blood counts) and I can start taking the chemo med again. I had a CT recently; that showed stable tumors in my lungs. In short - no indication that cancer is growing but instead, it is stable / getting smaller. π
With stage 4 cancer they don’t use the words “remission” or “cured” but this is the best news we could ask for. We are praying that when they do complete scans in February, they will be NEAD (no evidence of active disease).
Thank you to everyone who prays for us and cheers us on. We are very blessed.
“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” Psalm 112:7 NIV
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ’He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.” Psalm 91:1-2, 4, 9-10 NIV
